Hi everyone, here on this post I’m gonna do a brief rundown of my skin care routine that I do in the morning and in the evening. I have combination skin, and if you aren’t familiar with skin types, I’ll break it down before getting into my routine.
Normal: Feels good and even; not too oily or dry.
Dry: Feels itchy and tight, has some flaky patches.
Sensitive: Sometimes get red, irritated, itchy, or inflamed.
Oily: Is shiny, and feels greasy, especially in the T-Zone ( is the part of your face that is made up of the forehead, nose, chin and area circling the mouth).
Combination: Is oily in the T-Zone, but dry or normal on my cheeks and jawline.
Before I introduce y’all to the products I use in my skin care routine, I just wanted to say that what I use may or may not work for you, due to everyone’s skin being different but I am more than happy to share what I use. I also wanted to say that besides doing my skin care routine, I drink lots of water, 90 -95% of the time that’s what I drink, I also drink Green Tea to reduce inflammation, and I try to not to eat too much acne prone foods !
After I rinse my face off water, I soak a cotton pad with Garnier Micellar water and wipe my face and I use another cotton pad and pour witch hazel on it and wipe my face off, after I rub Eucerin calming cream on my face. (pretty simple).
-Once a week in the AM , I’ll use the Cetaphil Extra Gentle Face Scrub.
I cleanse my face off with the Cetaphil foaming cleanser and with Neutrogena foaming scrub/I also rotate this with the Oil free acne wash. After rinsing off the cleanser, I apply witch hazel on a cotton pad, and rub over my face; and rub Eucerin calming cream on my face along with Pond’s dark spot correcting cream.
-Before I go to bed I spray rosewater facial mist on my face.
-Occasionally when I have a bump/acne/spot I use diluted tea tree oil with water and/or the Neutrogena On-the-spot acne treatment, which reduces the size/inflammation.
