Check These Out: My Victoria Secret Semi Annual Haul

Victoria Secret and PINK’s Semi-Annual Sale was about two months ago, and I know it’s kind of late, but I just wanted to share and kind of give a brief review of the products I bought during one of their most anticipated sales of the year. I am an Angel card holder and me being one, I try not to go crazy in the store, but with such a good sale, I had to take advantage. Read on to see my Victoria Secret haul.

Body Scrubs

This one is called Petal Polish, it has a smooth texture, and it smells so good. The scent is called Tease. Plus this was 60 percent off, which cost me $7.80 vs $19.50.

Aloe-Ha Scrub

Now this is one of my favorites, I mainly use this as a face scrub, I mean after all this scrub contains Aloe Vera, something my face loves. And the scent smells great, it kind of reminds me of Cucumber Melon, plus the price was a steal at $3.99.

Candy Rose Lip Scrub

At $3.99 I had to buy this scrub, plus it smells great. I only bought one, since that’s all I needed lol

Scrub Swatches

Just in case you’re wondering what the scrubs look like on skin.

Body Sprays

I love VS body sprays; They have great scents and sales. I wasn’t gonna go to the Semi Annual Sale, without purchasing some sprays; Plus they were $3.99 including the lotion, so why not ? lol – And all of these smell so good.

Good Vibes or Goodbye

Fragrance Notes: Fragrant Lily, Pineapple breeze, Pink sunsets

Skin Care Routine

Hi everyone, here on this post I’m gonna do a brief rundown of my skin care routine that I do in the morning and in the evening. I have combination skin, and if you aren’t familiar with skin types, I’ll break it down before getting into my routine.

Skin Types

Normal: Feels good and even; not too oily or dry.

Dry: Feels itchy and tight, has some flaky patches.

Sensitive: Sometimes get red, irritated, itchy, or inflamed.

Oily: Is shiny, and feels greasy, especially in the T-Zone ( is the part of your face that is made up of the forehead, nose, chin and area circling the mouth).

Combination: Is oily in the T-Zone, but dry or normal on my cheeks and jawline.

Before I introduce y’all to the products I use in my skin care routine, I just wanted to say  that what I use may or may not work for you, due to everyone’s skin being different but I am more than happy to share what I use. I also wanted to say that besides doing my skin care routine, I drink lots of water, 90 -95% of the time that’s what I drink, I also drink Green Tea to reduce inflammation, and I try to not to eat too much acne prone foods !

Morning Routine

After I rinse my face off water, I soak a cotton pad with Garnier Micellar water and wipe my face and I use another cotton pad and pour witch hazel on it and wipe my face off, after I rub Eucerin calming cream on my face. (pretty simple).

-Once a week in the AM , I’ll use the Cetaphil Extra Gentle Face Scrub.

Evening Routine

I cleanse my face off with the Cetaphil foaming cleanser and with Neutrogena foaming scrub/I also rotate this with the Oil free acne wash. After rinsing off the cleanser, I apply witch hazel on a cotton pad, and rub over my face; and rub Eucerin calming cream on my face along with Pond’s dark spot correcting cream.

-Before I go to bed I spray rosewater facial mist on my face.

-Occasionally when  I have a bump/acne/spot I use diluted tea tree oil with water and/or the Neutrogena On-the-spot acne treatment, which reduces the size/inflammation.
