I think by now some of you should know that I love horror movies and Halloween; I got a little inspiration from some of my favorite Instagram bloggers, @golden_aimeee, @disneylandmermaid, and @damfino, these three ladies love horror movies too, and not only that, but they have some great content on their pages ! (check them out).. So for my Horror Icon Series, I picked six of my favorite horror movie villains to rep on my shirt and used props that represented them in some way. Cheers to 26 years !

Monday, the 21st was my 26th birthday, and I had the whole week off from work, which I loved, and enjoyed ! Since I went to Halloween Horror Nights as an birthday gift to myself earlier this month, I really did not plan on doing anything else for my birthday except laying in my bed watching Horror/Halloween movies, and some of my favorite tv shows surrounded by snacks and wine; And that’s exactly what I did !

I kind of had myself a mini birthday photo shoot; I had fun doing this and being creative is something I love, so this was perfect ; With a couple of balloons from Party City and a cute simple birthday look, anyone can do this. Also those number balloons were $1.99 each, which is a steal !

Fun Fact: Pink and Turquoise are also my favorite colors.

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”

I watched the horror classic The Shining, and a Halloween/Horror favorite, Trick ‘R Treat, both are must sees by the way ! I also had some Pink Stella Rosa wine with some cheese, turkey, crackers, and grapes, just living my life lol.

Surprise from my siblings !

My brother and sister surprised me with more balloons and a cute little cupcake; They know I’m not much of a cake eater, so they just bought me something smaller, I still haven’t ate it yet lol.

Birthday Cards !

I don’t know about y’all, but every Birthday card, Christmas card, etc. that I’ve received that I can recall, I’ve kept; I just feel weird just throwing them out, so why not keep them; Check out the Birthday cards I got this year !

Snacks and Halloween movies !

What’s Halloween season without watching a few Halloween classics and favorites. This whole week off, I’ve been in my bed watching Horror and Halloween movies; I love horror movies and I watch those anytime, but watching them during the Halloween season is more spookier. I still plan on watching more Halloween movies up until Halloween is over; Here’s a few that I’ve watched so far: Hocus Pocus ( a classic), Corpse Bride, Monster House, and A Nightmare Before Christmas. Of course I have more to watch; And as far as snacks go, I had my favorite, sweet and salty: Pretzels, Sour Patches, Peanut M&Ms, Snickers, and popcorn !

Birthday Wishes

I’ve received many Birthday wishes on my Birthday, and it was really nice for them to do, so here’s another thank you to everyone who has wished me a Happy Birthday ! My 26th birthday was fun, relaxing, and was spent doing what I love; Here’s to turning 26 !

Halloween Decoration Ideas Anyone ?

It’s finally October you guys ! My favorite and the BEST month of the year is here lol. I love Halloween, and Fall; And let’s not forget Horror movies; I mean I watch those year round, but hey watching them during October makes it even more awesome !

This will just be a quick post on me decorating my room for Halloween, and letting you guys know where I got my decorations from. Let’s start !

IMG_1179 (1)

This is a poster I had from last year and it was still in good condition; So why not use it ? I mean IT (2017) is one of my favorite horror films and Pennywise is a favorite of mine.. I  bought this poster from Wal-Mart for $5.00 and it looks good on my closet door.

Now this Beware or Caution tape you can get from Dollar Tree as well; But I got this particular tape from Walmart, only cost me $0.98; It’s simple but an effective piece of decoration; This is on my other closet door.

This is my small table that is by my DVD rack and window ! I couldn’t wait to decorate this little section. Yes the table is small, but it is just enough lol… I got the ‘Hello Pumpkin’ mug from Marshalls, I believe it was $4.99; The ‘scary’ sign is from Dollar General, which costs me a dollar. The small, glitter pumpkin comes in a pack of three pumpkins from Target for $3.00, and the lights on the wall are from Dollar Tree (Yep $1.00)

Non-Halloween items:

Desk light : $5.00 from Five Below

Desk plant: $4.00 from Target

Picture Frame: $1.00 from Dollar Tree // Picture inside frame, found on Google.

Small Table: $ 5.00 from Five Below

These decorations are placed on my nightstand. I used a Starbucks Frappuccino glass bottle for the flower vase, and put some fall themed flowers from Dollar Tree; The candle comes from Bath and Body Works, which I got on sale for $14.95; The pumpkin on top was a free gift (it’s magnetic). The purple glittery light up skull (I have a few of these at work too) are from Dollar Tree.

IMG_1207 (1)

Here’s another view of my flowers; The crystals are glow in the dark and they’re from Michaels, which cost about $4.99; I thought this was a nice touch lol; I also have another dollar sign from Dollar General, that says ‘Beware’.

Just a cute and simple pumpkin banner hanging behind my T.V. that I got from Walmart for $0.98.

This cute sparkly spider web came from Dollar Tree !

Lastly in my window, I got this glass flask from Michaels on sale for $4.99 (which I put those glow in the dark crystals in ); I got the small Halloween sign from Wal-Mart for $2.98 and the glitter pumpkin came from Dollar Tree.

I know that it may look like my decorations are all over the place, but I like it like that ! They’re simple, and fun ! You don’t have to spend a lot of money to put up Halloween decorations, heck you can even reuse some from last year ! You can have fun and save money decorating for Halloween, and if you need suggestions, the stores I named above are great places to look and shop ! Thanks again boils and ghouls for reading ! Until next time !

“You Ain’t Never Had A Friend Like Me”

A few months ago, I found the cutest shirt and purse to wear for the Aladdin opening weekend; If the shirt looks familiar, its because Princess Jasmine wore it in Ralph Breaks The Internet. I went to the Disney Store and found both the shirt and the purse on the clearance rack, so of course I had to get them. If you guys aren’t familiar with Danielle Nicole, her bags are adorable especially the ones like the crossbody bag I have above. I’ll link her website below, definitely check out her website . Also I think doing flatlays may be my new thing 😉

Here are more pics of my outfit ! Which I loved by the way; I also wore jewelry inspired by the Aladdin movie from Hot Topic (I should’ve took pics)

If you had three wishes, what would they be ?

I would wish for a happily ever after with my true love, money, and more traveling ! And I know there are no extra wishes, but I would wish to meet the cast of Avengers Endgame. Tell me your three wishes below !
